This is a much longer book than I was expecting. Note to self; always check out page count before starting a book!
I like it, but really can't see that it needs over 400 pages with such a simplistic plot and very few characters. There is quite a bit of repetition of inner thoughts and such. Repetition or redundancy? Hmmmm, I guess redundancy is more accurate.

What the heck just happened?! Was that real or a dream? Did I miss something that happened for that to make sense?

"I think he recognized me!" She gave me a sour look. "Of course he does. He's a baby, not a moron."

Not really sure about how I feel about this book so far....

I'm not far into this and slightly confused. The story goes the couple was together for 6 weeks, they sleep together, then she disappears for 7 months to come back with a baby. That doesn't really add up but ok maybe she's bringing back her newborn that was born a little early. Right after she's back, she's talking about cleaning dust bunnies because her baby is crawling and may get into them??
