Status Updates From Man's Fate

Didn’t really click for me until part 3, but from there to the end it’s sublime once you get used to the way Malraux writes. Based on nothing I believe the translation is doing a great disservice here. It’s telling that the most affecting parts of the novel despite the “explosive” violence is still the simple relations between humans—after all it is “Man’s Fate”, and not the Revolution’s.
