I am learning so much about how my city, Austin, (among many others) used industrial zoning, segregated schools and restricted access to public services to corral minorities to the east side. Those effects are still felt in the city and school system today. And that's on top of the federal gov and banks' restrictions on home loans to Black and brown folks! Wow.
