Alright once you get into the lyricism style of this it’s so pretty to read

It’s fine shut up I’m fine ignore the fact I’m starting three books in as many days. (This is gonna either be a slow burn read, wherein I savor the words, the lyricism, or I’m gonna blow through it in a weekend…)

I can't handle the suspense!! What did Emily see behind the black veil? Who did Montoni murder? What happened to the former Lady of Udolpho? Who is the woman in the painting formerly belonging to Emily's father? AGH!!
