Pain does not automatically equal judgment for sin. Always good to make that clear.

God answers Job’s questions by becoming Job’s substitute!!!! Jesus is God’s greatest answer to Job’s deepest questions and concerns.

Hope does not negate lament: nor does lament mean we don’t hope. We need more biblical lamenting; pouring out our pain and grief while acknowledging the God who hears us and promises us eternal restoration.

A good outcome does not nullify or justify pain… We may hope that God has a reason for allowing suffering… but that is very different from thinking we can know or understand why something is taking place.

Evil and pain exist… instead of asking “why”, we should ask “how do we live?” because it’s not going away until Jesus returns.
