This series is definitely reminiscent of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Whether that's a good or bad thing, I'll leave up to you to decide.

Oh, dear. Switching the tense in which the narrative is taking place in mid-sentence. Yikes.

My biggest critique is the over description on the characters. It takes me out of the story and doesn't really serve a purpose other than hooray! Her lips are still glossy red!

Ok, so if there's one trope I love, it's when old mystical beings are being introduced to modern day technology and are just fascinated by it. "What mystical forces compel this rectangular box to make the corn of pop, pop?"

Nooooo! Don't fall for this dude! I was all prepared for angsty "I can't fall for the attractive demon because he's a demon and I'm the good guy" romance!

It's a little...odd...that a college professor would call in the parents for a meeting. Or is that just me? College kids aren't really kids--they're adults.

No offense intended, but if he gave me so much as an interested look, I'd knock you to the ground and step on your face to get to him.
