Status Updates From Moon Beam

Halfway through what I appreciate about the reading style is quick logical flow of the narrative right from the beginning to and through each event.

Brenda's a farm girl, bright and very much a tomboy, busy fixing a balky harvester with the help of FIDO, her PDE (a handheld with sophisticated AI) when she discovers she's been chosen to join the Bright Sparks, a team of kids on the Moon, with a reality show based on their projects. She's no sooner arrived than they set off to build a radio telescope on Farside, and she has to mcguiver them out of a jam.

I read the first 50 pages of this book over a week ago and never picked it up again....should I DNF? I was interested when I was reading it
