Entertaining read, perhaps more anecdotal than anything else. I've always enjoyed the respective and joint works of John Wayne and John Ford. Schoenberger does make me reassess how I have perceived several aspects of the Cavalry trilogy, especially as I she seems to see dancing and caring for children as the feminization of men. I can's say I agree with that, but now I am wondering whether Ford might.
