Status Updates From Meditations on Psalms

Back with my patron saint.

I understand what Bonhoeffer’s getting at, about a greater/heavenly peace, in his interpretation of Psalm 85. However, his dismal of the peace through strength approach is hard for me to interpret.

“Only in God is there stillness and rest” (31). There is so much going on in our busy lives and world that we forget to spend time in prayer, with God.
