!!SPOILER ALERT!! It's inappropriate for 5--9yr olds; not in a weird way, but in a explicit way. But for 10+,(I'm 10+!) depending on your parents decision on whether to buy it or not, I don't know. I actually liked this book! It made me a bit sad when the Mam was saying something like: "Love you," and the son/daughter doesn't reply.
