Status Updates From Pets in Space: Cats, Dogs, ...

Alexis Glynn Latner's story had an interesting premise that sucked me right in. 3.5 stars.

This progress thing is annoying. This book has 979 pages, not 500. I am NOT finished yet.

Carol Van Natta's story was 3.5 stars. really likable characters and pets, and she gave the story enough time for the relationship to develop gradually between them, instead of insta-love.

Pauline Baird Jones's story was 2 stars. liked the characters but hated the time war plot.

Laurie A Green's story 1.5 stars. Really didn't like the hero and couldn't believe the heroine falling for him.

Skipped SE Smith. Susan Grant's story was 2.5 stars (a bit twee at the start, got better). Michelle Howard's story was 3 stars. Cara Bristol's story was 3.5 stars (really liked the characters). Veronica Scott's story was 2 stars (not fond of pop stars as characters).

So far I've read the Grim Pet story by M.K. Eidem and it did not disappoint! Would have bought the book for that story alone, and it made it worth the purchase, before I even read any of the others. 4 stars.

I've already DNF'd "A Mate For Matrix: Cyborg Protection Unit"By S.E. Smith. Hope the rest are better.

You'd think that even a virgin from the backwoods of Michigan would know enough to comment that the alien penis she is handling is a bit different.

I finished The Real Dragon and that's good enough for now. Maybe I'll try another story in the future but overall this anthology was disappointing.

I'm not really feeling this story as much. The parts from Matrix's POV are boring to me.

The first story has been dragging but a later one has been more fun. The one about the "dragon" has a voice that's a bit snarky in a good way. I want to see how it unfolds.
