Status Updates From Ex Games

What I’m loving so far: the pacing! 🙌 We got the heartbreak and betrayal, but we’re not wallowing in it. We’ve already moved on to revenge, fake dating, excellent banter, sizzling chemistry, and an MMC who teases her without actually being cruel. Mason clearly thinks Taylor is 🔥, Taylor gives as good as she gets, and I’m having FUN. Now get me to St. Lucia so we can ruin a wedding. 😂🍿

Back at this to chip away at my “in progress” list, but I’m quickly reminded why I put this down to begin with… single POV doesn’t quite do it for me & the writing’s not as good as Hothead (though to be fair, this is an earlier work) 😞 also kinda odd for Sofia to be discussing her cousin’s (MMC) sex life so readily with FMC… debating DNF but curious about the St Lucia trip 👀

I went into Ex Games expecting revenge and brother drama, but this is starting to feel like a love story neither of them saw coming. Mason and Taylor made this pact for revenge, but I swear they’re actually falling for each other—or maybe they always were. The drama is good, the spice is definitely there, Solid 4/5 so far.

This just confirms that romances written before 2020 were a different breed!!

yikes not her best

started reading this yesterday thinking it's a new book for me but apparently i've already read this back in 2022 but have completely forgotten lol

i don’t even hate the premise or plot- the way it’s written is just so poor with typos and grammar mistakes that make it hard to read

like it reads like it wasn’t edited at all

very rough thinking about dnfing but already almost halfway through so probably won’t
