i’m starting to wonder whether i like this or whether it’s millennial cringe

this is feeling painfully millenial

so far this is just filler. i really don't feel like this needs to be 500 damn pages long

I’m really really liking this section of the book the best so far. It’s hard to tell until I get to the end, but I feel like this book could have been 200 pages shorter. I get the world building etc… but in some parts it seems like nothing reaaally happens for a while or something was introduced early in the story but then there’s so much filler, you forget things discussed earlier.

just 13 pages in and there's some casual racism from the main character. He says and I quote: "I didn't know someone like you could be named Penelope" and "Other girls I'd met who looked like her were named Saanvi or Aditi" to someone described as having light brown skin...
