This conflict is silly. Yes, Danny's grandmother fell and hit her head the night of Avery's big event, but a text takes 10 seconds. Besides if he had called repeatedly but unable to leave a voicemail, Avery would have had more than one missed call from him. Now they're 'done'. Please. The book was going so well too.
