okay this doesn't sound like a fun read but I am certainly curious!

for a short story about a dude dying due to cancer it sure is amusing, e.g:
"“Hey, honey,” she said. “You had a seizure.” “If it’s a girl seizure, I’ll name it after you.”"
And
"“Shouldn’t you be at work?” She shrugged it off. “I took a personal day.” “Oh, honey.” I gave her a sympathetic look. “Is it cramps?”"
