Notes:
(1) The last three issues were simultaneously informative, consequential and button-mashy.
- A lot gets explained, albeit not crystal clear. Eh, nothing wrong with leaving some mystery on the table.
(2) I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Baal called Baphomet "Nick Batcave."
- Then I realized it's a combination of Nick Cave and Batcave. Feels like a stretch.

Notes:
(1) It's been a rather fight-heavy first couple issues. Though, a lot of intrigue and story's been woven in.
- Aside from the big twist from the last book, gods are all choosing sides in this civil war, and it looks like we're getting major relationship drama.
- Ironically, it's the underworld characters who've seen the light. Most everyone else is still in the dark.

Notes:
(1) The last volume was sort of frozen plotwise past its first issue, putting the story on pause to see events through several characters' eyes, reveal backstory, and flesh things out in general.
- I expect this volume to press play again to resume the storyline.
- It's smart that the last volume ended on a big twist, otherwise this would have zero momentum going in.

Hopeful start though I'm relying on Internet synopses as I recall nothing. V sad again that my fave is no longer in it. Gorgeous drawings, action and kickass he she's and they so I'm happy
