Elizabeth Bennet and Will Darcy are ever the same regardless of the time frame, job types or circumstance. They are classic and this variation worked so well. There was a slight change in names but their character was still the same. Carla Bingley will always be the snarky Caroline regardless of her name.

5) Melanie Perceived: by Rebecca M. Fleming: ends at 79%
A Mansfield Park Story: College newspaper The Lion's Den needs more help as they plan to expand. There was a slight change in character names; however, their true character trails remained true to canon. I really enjoyed this variation. Rating was PG and clean.

4) Thanksgiving on Hartfield Street: by Jennifer Becton: ends at 66%
Emma with a different perspective. The POV of [Addy], or Harriet Smith Woodhouse, adopted sister to Emma. What a cute variation, a beautiful perspective and what a different take on Austen's classic. Rating is a bit steamy but not explicit.

3) Second Time's the Charm: by Nancy Kelley: ends at 50%
Sense & Sensibility: romantic Marianne and steadfast Elinor, with dubious Will and the ever reliable Brandon. All located in a college town settin, Allenham College meets Delaford University. We have a new use of technology with Lucy Steele broadcasting her dating status with Edmund to all her followers. Cute

2) North By Northanger by Jessica Gray: ends at 32%
NY State Senator Bethany Taylor is worried about her political aspirations and her children, her son Henry Taylor and her 17-year old daughter Lana. Henry has brought home a girlfriend from college for Thanksgiving and Kate Moore is not what Senator Taylor has in mind for her son.

1) A Persuasive Visitor: by Cecilia Gray: ends 13%
Rating Moderate: sexual tension, suggestive but non graphic. We have a very modern Persuasion story of Dr. Anne Elliot who chose a different course eight years earlier and has regretted it every sense. His name Wentworth, a firefighter/smoke jumper that she never gotten over. It was a cute story.

Halloween was so yesterday....I'm ready to celebrate Thanksgiving! ;)
