Jamie definitely should have killed Peter, the pirate are retaliating(understandably so) for Peter burning their camp and killing their captain but theyre killing the innocent children, not Peter and Jamie(Jamie doesn't deserve to die, but the two of them equals all the boys)

A few of my favorites died, Peter brough back three new boys and one was already dead in less than a month, it's like he's trying to kill his own island

Christina Henry is so incredible at making it feel like youre actually listening to the story, the words hold such strong emotion and it's clear that she loves creating stories, deepening the opinions of different characters that everyone knows

Did I mention how much I hate Peter and just wish the boys would tear off his limbs and beat his dying, sociopath body with them?

I love how easy Christina Henry books are to read, literally 20 pages in and it's already grasping my attention and I want to keep reading
