Hated book 1 pretty quickly so skipped to Reckless In Texas which is WAY better!

How to Marry a Cowboy - Completed July 26th

10% into the second book, Reckless in Texas, I'm calling it quits. I can't stand an h who decides she doesn't want to be attracted to the H, so she turns into a bitch. It makes her childish. The H isn't much better after he let his friend railroad him into going to Texas. I have no respect for either of these characters.

I did finish How to Marry a Cowboy. It wasn't for me, although it had its moments. 2 stars.

Now on to Reckless in Texas, about which I have heard good things.

Re: How to Marry a Cowboy. The twin girls are OTT, annoying, and take up too much page time. Kids in books are fine, but in a romance I expect at least equal or greater page time dedicated to the H and h alone without revolving around the kids. That is not happening here. I will likely skip the rest of this first book and move on to Reckless in Texas.
