also i love beau being a more feminine guy but also i dont think steph meyer has ever actually considered being a man and how gender would affect the way a man walks in this world. which is crazy considering thats the entire point of this book

this book is a banger. the relationship is still horrifically toxic but it’s very pleasant to see the gender role reversal—clumsy, shy, delicate beau who turns into a blushing mess when gorgeous, strong, deadly edythe is around. it’s the sort of book that would never have been written on its own because straight paranormal romance writers are cowards

it feels like edythe is a lot better with touch than edward is. like what do you mean beau is holding her hand in her volvo???? beau is also soooo much more forward than bella is, leaning in to kiss her after port angeles?! it's also funny to me when edythe does something and just being like edward would NEVERRRR do that 😭

Found this at a used book stall at the market. Obvs I stayed up reading until 1am reading it. Obvs I'm listening to the Twilight soundtrack while reading. Obvs I'm having a grand old time reliving my Twilight days 😂
