Status Updates From Holmes' Own Story: Confesse...

The Confessions, reporter statements, and execution report definitely tie the story together. I was able to handle all confessions, except for the Pietzel children. Just heartbreaking. Holmes reincarnation vision is that he comes back as a yellow dog.

Finally got through Holmes autobiographical stories about his whereabouts during the murders and insurance fraud. Also read his prison diary entries further trying to prove his innocence and blaming others for the murders and fraud. It seems quite obvious that he is trying to lose the reader by including so many descriptions about people and places. Creepy. About to start his confessions (eeek).

Holmes talks more about insurance fraud and traveling with dead bodies to impersonate himself or Pietzel. He constantly claims Pietzel had a drinking problem, obviously trying to tarnish his character. He talks about how Pietzel organized the insurance fraud plans.

Intro explains that everything is real and written by HH Holmes himself. Even though he told various publications/newspapers that they had the only copy, he sent to multiple, so this book included all references. He begins by talking about his childhood and how he wanted to become a doctor. Then talks about each scenario/story where evidence was found, lying about all and how they ran off or killed themselves.
