The way she's scavenging for any scrap of permanence from this man is cringe worthy! Girl, where is your self-respect!?! This man has remorselessly played you, Who cares what he wants!?

She's lighting candles, putting on lingerie and staging the scene to lose her virginity....to a guy who she knows married her just to fuck her over and he isn't even remorseful...God, that's so pathetic I actually feel bad for her.

I just don't understand it, she's so mad and hurt he played her AS she's willingly giving him her virginity without him apologizing or even saying he changed his mind or anything! What sort of delusion is this?!

Dude...romance book logic is hilarious. "I didn't mind conning you into marriage so I could steal your father's invention for a few months, but fucking you while I was conning you was TOO far. I'm such a noble guy!" 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Meh... too long for how little development there is with the characters or the romance. At least it’s made work look more appealing 🤷‍♀️

The problem with these books is that if you don’t finish this in one shot, you run the risk of losing interest.

Maybe I’ll get back into it.

I’m not sure how old the heroine is supposed to be but she reads a little young and a bit silly.

Of course if I had been married to the H I would be screeching in annoyance too.

This is weird AF. The guy she married in Vegas isn't who she thought he was. He wants something from her, married her in order to get it. She hates him, wants a divorce. Now he's being to honest to her, he pops her cherry and whisk her away for some gala showing her he's actually loaded...wtf?

Why with all the books I have on my shelf for months am I reading this .... ❓

3-3 1/2 stars. Not bad. Something was just missing for me. Maybe if it was longer and more developed

Suspense. Violence. h leaves H--in beginning

So far, very spicy. It sure I love e characters. Wish the h wouldn't keep falling all over the H since she's supposed to. It trust him. Also wish I had H's POV since I'm not getting a good sense of why he is pursuing the h at all--except for her father's plans. Don't like H's or H's actions

Sometimes the h makes it seem like she spent a lot of time with the H, when actually it was a whirlwind thing

Angsty from beginning. Wasn't expecting that. Time lines moves fast--almost too fast in some spots. Overall, enjoying it so far
