A fun and informative read of the Horatius Cocles of the French Revolution (i.e. the real life Chuck Norris). The detail to which General Thomas-Alexandre's life has been woven alongside history, reveals how tragic it is we have forgotten this hero. It's a treat to read about the Feat's of Alexander Dumas' father alongside the tales of Edmond Dantes.
