Status Updates From Arrival

I’m still making my way through the book, one story at a time, but I had to stop to write about the titular “Story of Your Life”. I’m moved to tears by how beautiful and evocative it is. The two stories before this—“Understand” and “Division by Zero” felt like thought experiments, with the latter having more warmth than the former. This was similar, but by far the warmest, most heart-wrenching one.

Just finished “The story of your life” and it was great. I had no idea the film Arrival was based on a book so was cool to see the source material
