okay I figured out why this book is bothering me so much: it's about lgbtqia+ individuals but I would never never recommend this book to anyone one the lgbtqia+ spectrum. The homophobia, derogatory slanders, and the way ALL the gay boys are dying of AIDS....like wtf. So who is this book for? Why does it exist? If it's here to give straight people an "edgy" read then...no. I'm so frustrated and angry.
