Idk if this is messed up but I feel relatable to Jack. I know characters aren’t always supposed to be relatable. But I can understand his unwillingness to insert himself again into his family again. How much effort it takes and grit to persevere even trying again when you’ve felt like such a failure. People forgive so easily if given the opportunity, most of the time people just need to start coming around again

Sick day, allergy day idk, I woke up feeling like today would be rough and it was… and I feel like rocks are in my head, I’m also really hungry rn waiting for my pizza to be done that I just put in

I’ve got allergies this year… this sucks… but this book doesn’t.

I genuinely love these books. They feel like a good slow way to get into summer. It’s about sibling relationships and frankly I don’t relate completely but I love what it’s about and I honestly wonder if would be like to have that relationship

Been spending time w a lot of older folks recently and this book I feel like encapsulates the feeling of watching an old person be old or handling an old person that needs more help than they ever needed in their lifetime

It’s always fun to see the other characters from the first book from another point of view. Another side of the story you wouldn’t have gotten. I’m also excited for Lila’s point of view. I wonder if it will be before during or after her husbands death…
