After diving deep into the Cosmere, returning to this book was light and swift.
The story plays to the strengths of the western/detective genres while expanding the setting and magic of Scadrial. The focus on twin-born and compounding makes fights interesting and strategic.
The final chapters set the scene for the trilogy so simply as the heroes reflect and recover from the survival and victory.
