Have you ever read in a novel that someone’s face was “puce”? Before reading this book the only context in which I could remember this adjective being used was Monster’s Inc. Now I’ve heard it used at least 4 times in this book. I don’t know if this is a critique but I also don’t think it makes me want to add “puce” to my vocabulary…
