Status Updates From Windhaven

There’s some things that I agree with regarding how Val views Maris, but damn does he have to be so dislikable? And where’s Barrion, Coll and Russ? You just kill them off like Raven with no explanation? And I can see the plot now of either S’Rella or Val taking Maris’ wings. This book started out great, but now it just feels so wrong. I’m hoping that it eventually leads to something, but we’ll see.

Ooh 👀 Dorrel a new love interest? And hopefully Coll and Barrion are ok.

I love a book that challenges tradition and smuggles in discrimination and stereotypes to advance in a revolution plot. I hope this is good because I’m rooting for Coll and Maris, and I have a feeling that we haven’t quite seen the last of Raven yet!

Didn’t quite know which way Part 1 was going to go when I started reading, but I will say that the character introductions, conflict and timeskip summary were all poetically written in a way that was very easy to understand and left me wanting more! Just a shame that there’s no chapters and only 50+ page parts 😭

This looks like a pretty fun read! I already love the MC, I hope she’s kept her innocent wonder in most of Part 1, and I hope Russ is still nice.
