Why is Lucy always wearing a skirt and leggings, like surely that isn't practical? I feel like it doesn't fit her character at all

What can I say? I'm currently at the biggest climax of the entire series, and I am just dreading/anticipating the ending. Somehow, I don't want this to end, and I just know that things are never going to be the same after the next couple of pages that I will read. This is no longer the little gimmick that I had enjoyed immensely in the first book. And if Lockwood dies?--problem taken care of. ;) Last update!

WE GET IT, STROUD. LOCKWOOD IS NOT QUITE SANE. NOW WHAT ARE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? YOU ONLY HAVE TWO OR THREE HUNDRED PAGES TO RESOLVE IT.

We're doing this one last time, guys. One last time with the Lockwood gang. Farewell, the incessant internal monologing of Lucy that is seriously getting on my nerves. ;) I'm not sure if I feel exhilirated or sad that this is the very, very last book in the series. If there's some sort of sappy, sentimental epilogue at the end of this book, I think I will be even sadder. I'm a sucker for those sad epilogues.

Did the title of this book HAVE to spoil the content of part one? Seriously... And the way these blurbs spoil things...

like a third of the way through chapter 13

"Know what this is an example of? Skull-ism"
"What nonsense are you spouting now?"
"You've heard of racism, you've heard of sexism, well this is skull-ism pure and simple. You're judging me based on my outward appearance. You doubt my word just because I'm a skull lurking in a jar!"

Idk, I think Skull is onto something here...
