The first chapter didn't grab me and I'm not even sure exactly how old these two main characters are. The princess is old enough to marry and her friend is old enough to be in the guard, but the way they were talking just now sounded like a couple of 12 year olds joking around. *shrug* I'll keep reading because I want something guaranteed light right now, but I hope to get a better feel for these girls soon.
