Very exciting adventure! Mattie the K9 cop and her dog Robo. When the girlfriend of the chief deputy is killed, everyone is trying to find out what happened to her. She was a massage therapist that worked on animals and people and everybody liked her.. Mattie reconnects with her long lost brother who is d12-step program of drug rehab brings up horrible past memories of her abusive childhood.

I am really enjoying this series of Mattie and her K9 Robo. He's an exceptional police dog and she is learning to be a good handler. There's a hint of romance to come in the future but the cases she works are dangerous and interesting.
