Chapter 1 slaps so hard. But the rest of what I’ve read not quite as much. Still good though!

It’s pretty sad that this book hasn’t aged in 510 years

I read this after it was discussed on the BBC’s “In Our Time” and because I read a biography of Thomas More.
Part 1 is a conversation with a weather-worn traveller, the bluntly philosophical Raphael Hythloday.
More uses this to criticise England of Henry VIII, although he is careful to praise absolute monarchy.
In condemning English life More prepares us for the ideal of Utopia, to which he devoted part 2.
