William then meets up with an acquaintance he hasn’t seen in several years. It turns out that Jokey has started in a few movies and shows. Will Jokey’s reach be able to help Shem, Devo, and William out in the long run?

Shem C, Devo, and William now advance down the street where they are greeted by kiosk. They then enter a bookstore and let their minds wander about their favorite book types. Will their choices be useful on their future adventures? Or will it just be to pass the time?

Shem and William are joined by a new possible ally, Devo. He is 40 years old and used to live in the tougher side of town, he gave the 2 a tour of his town along with pointing out his neighbors. Will Devo be useful with this possible trio in gettin rich? Will William even receive a job at this point?

Shem now goes into further detail about his struggling relationship with his now ex-wife.Ut seems to haunt him a lot like how she used to buy useless things and that ultimately led them to go broke. With William willing to help with Shem C’s possible job could it lift both of them up out of poverty/near poverty?

Shem C and William now visit the hotel and he takes his time to give a backstory before offering a job. It is revealed that he recently divorced from his wife and he has a 4 year old child, he actually went to college and studied. This was strange to William, he had to admit that he didn’t go, will this affect the bond between the 2? Will Shem C even offer a job to someone with less education than him?

William and Shem C now visit other bars and explore the city. They visit a hotel that seems to show its age with photos and products from a decade ago. Will Shem C be able to to provide William with the job that he needs here? Or will he have to bail and find a proper job to survive?

Shem is introduced to be somewhat ignorant, he asks where William is from and he acts as if his origins are fictional. Shem makes up for it by buying William a drink at a bar but is it enough? Then William is asked by Shem because he needs him for a job but will he be enough if he’s just a typist?

William is introduced about his small past time jobs that he used to work at. He was known for this fast typing and how he made little to no errors. Then, Shem C seems to be another protagonist being introduced, could they have been an important mentor to William growing up?
