Status Updates From Must Love Chickens

This is one of those Lori Prince narrations that I just can't take. And the opening didn't grab me enough to want to keep going.

Okay no I’ve got a couple of complaints lol.

1. I HATE the word ‘panties’ do y’all actually call your underwear panties in real life? Or is this some bullshit ppl decided was “hotter” than just saying underwear? Bc it’s not.

2. I also haaaaate the term ‘made love’ I cannot ever encounter it without cringing every time. Similar to ‘lover’

3. The whole ‘city girl’ nonsense is getting old

This is cute, but… I dunno there are two hours left and I feel like I can’t fathom what else would happen? It’s been so low angst that I’m.. bored ISN’T the right word, but not quite connecting with it? Maybe I’m in a real reading slump and this is more me than the books I’m reading?
