Almost done. It could have been a 5 but for editing errors (a lot in the last 40%). and the ebook not having what seems part of the print book and if it has the same then the author referencing scenes she took out.
Once again , the importance of the jobs of copyeditors, proofreaders, etc that publishing house keep cutting.

I think parts of the book have been deleted in the kindle edition because she references something big happening that did not happen. I’ve searched and this was something i would not have missed.

I read a review on here that it’s Dickens meets scooby doo meets bodice ripper. That is something to look forward to!
Right now 30 pages in , dark Victorian backdrop of Jack the Ripper times in London.

"There are those that called it murder, & others wot called it justice. If Meggie had been a lady born, he would have been a hero. But she was born to the gutters, & that made her a whore, & him a murderin' thief." ....A bizarre Dickens-ish tangent in the countryside, with Celtic pastures & utopian farmhouse for orphans.
