Status Updates From The Marked

I'm still reading so that's something...more out of boredom than anything else though

I'm really, really not liking this book so far. It is overplaying every old cliche and trope, and to make it worse, the main character is "too nice" and too much of a Mary Sue for me to relate to, or to even like. I really hate that she can't say no to hanging out with Preston who is super controlling and possessive and angry--which she acknowledges scares her, but yet she continues saying yes
