really captured me at the beginning, the psychological female sexuality element reminding me of Hangsaman (my favourite book i've read recently.) but the whole orphan plot that it launches into is really tiring to me. will probably struggle through the rest, which is a shame.

This is genuinely so hard to stick with. It feels never ending even though it’s so short.
