Anyway another side note that I noticed in the first one and that is continued here is I really appreciate (so far) how gregg talks about women and their bodies. It is honestly really respectful and does not give me that gross icky feeling where I get incredibly annoyed because I can tell it’s written by a man. Hate to give a man any credit but it must be acknowledged.

The last 15% was honestly soooo delicious that I can almost overlook the first 75% but sadly not enough to bring it to a 4. The jack angst was really yummy though I hope to see more of it.
Something that doesn’t really make sense to me is the fact that they’re going around using all this time and resources and energy to kill him when they know he’s just going around and doing his own thing.

This plotline should have happened in the third or fourth book tbh not the second.
It took me until like 55% of the way through that I realized this was in fact going to be the central plot.

I could not GIVE A FUCK about what was goin down in that goddamn chalet oh my goddddd Jesus Christ get him out of there
