while i appreciate this book's choice to depict melancholic tales that would often be characterized as gritty and dramatic instead in a peaceful, whimsical way, i'm not so certain of just how familiar mr. yoon actually is with the perspective of homeless women. that first part being said, some lines clearly aim for a sense of reverence but fall a bit flat or fairytale, the intention too transparent
