Status Updates From My Years of Magical Thinking

This has been kind of a slog so far.

This is showing as 534 pages (34%) on my Kindle app on my phone. ?? How close am I really to being done? I am enjoying this, but it's dense, and told in a very personal, anecdotal way that somehow doesn't translate well to the small pages of a Kindle edition. (Maybe the page #'s on this assume I'm reading hard copy - I bet that's it.)

i stopped reading after about 70 pages. It feels to me as if the book is about defining terms and then see if something fits that word or not. Ican’t see the point.
