Now that I am nearing the end of Mastering Modern United States History, I can see it is concluding the 20th century. This book has been a good overview because it has steered away from being too brief. It goes into many important policies and events (it's obvious the author is interested in presidential scandals.)

I find learning about presidents and their historical significance cool, I have learned in detail about a few presidents in the 1900s but this book is a good overview of modern United States history and its author seems knowledgable and well written.

I cannot even imagine how hard it was for underprivileged people in the US in the 1960s :(

The effects of the different versions of the New Deal finally helped the nation come out of the depression. :) FDR must have been a genius :O
