Man, this book is terrible. There are so much inaccuracies in here that I wonder if there was any research into the thoroughbred horse racing world at all because it's very different than harness racing. I can't stand when the perspective switches to the animals and we get whole scenes or chapters from talking animals.

The villain is so over done it's ridiculous. Like, seriously?

Is this book serious? There are so many outlandish things in here. Having thoroughbreds that are palomino and roan - which do occur but they are exceptionally rare - and this race scene I just read. WHAT ON EARTH?! Interfering with another horse is not allowed and INTENTIONALLY ramming into another horse bad enough to cause it to fall and become injured is ridiculous! THE PUNISHMENT WILL BE SEVERE! No, no, no!

Umm, what?! Picked this up because it was only $2 at Barnes and Noble.

Reading to Ava when she eats. We’re not far enough in to say if it’s good or not, but so far it’s an enjoyable read.

This is one of those books that gives me hope about becoming published myself. Not good.

Sorry I'm finishing it.
