// Ugh.

// Some of this author’s choices drove me absolutely bonkers and I was absolutely not interested in this book because of that; this author totally destroyed this book for me with her ridiculous literary decisions! And the ending, everything about the whole mother story, especially that ending, the decision to do with this author did is absolute lunacy! This author needs to smack her self on the back of the head!!!!

// It’s driving me bonkers how this author is somehow excusing the most vile people here, and the great things that are happening she’s somehow twisting and turning into something negative! Besides there’s absolutely nothing wrong with someone you care about wanting to protect you! With all of the really really horrible literary decisions this author is making I can’t help feeling antagonistic toward her!!

// It doesn’t feel like this author is resolving any issues, it sounds like she’s creating a lot of them just for the sake of contrived drama and angst!!

// Jason is pissing me off with making himself out to be a victim here when he himself admitted that he knew how to get his way when it came to Ryder!!

// I think Ryder is pathetic for trying to find ways to make things work with a mother that couldn’t have given less of a fuck about him! Yeah she’s doing a good thing but any fucking stranger off the street would do it, so it’s not something out of the realm of basic human decency! Which by the way, I thought she lacked and I’m pretty sure she does! But this author is making Ryder sound pathetic!!

// On a separate note, with everything you just said Jason, you’re being kind of a hypocrite!!

// I mean think about it, even strangers would give bone marrow, so they could’ve continued to remain strangers just to say have been it until up until that point! I don’t understand the need for any kind of connection a reconciliation! I’m going to be so fucking pissed if that happens!!

// The plot would’ve stood on its own, so for the author to decide that the source of angst would be a thinly veiled excuse to facilitate some kind of resolution or reconciliation with a cunt of a woman who’s been nothing but vile and abusive toward Ryder, is so ludicrous and contrived, it pisses the shit out of me! That the cunt/mother is the only match so that the author can manipulate the story is absurd!!

// Here’s the thing though, some people are just evil, some people are just cunts, sometimes it just is! I don’t believe that Ryder’s mother should be rewarded with having access to Gemma’s life just because she might do something significant that should’ve been a given, and she should have done without asking anyway! Access to Gemma, Ryder, or Jason should never be a reward for good behaviour!!!!

// Are you fucking kidding me, Ryder, you’re giving your mom so much credit just because you’re she’s your mother, and ignoring the fact that she is an abusive homophobic nasty cunt?!? Grow a fucking set of balls and have some respect for yourself! Recognize reality and respect yourself!

// I’m just going to put it out there even though I’m only at the beginning of the book and I have no idea what’s going on with Gemma! But considering the fact that she’s not feeling well and we already got the hint that they’re going to need help from family members, I am thinking, and this is just me going out on a limb l, Gemma probably has leukemia! Because then she would need a bone marrow transplant!!

// And I’m going to be clear nothing aggravating is happening now but I can just what’s about to happen or what will happen towards the end, and I’m preparing myself for the inevitable! But we shall see!! But I’m putting an end to that thought process for now, and will deal with it when and/or if it comes!!! Again we shall see!!

Based on this author’s literary history she’s prone to doing things that are so incredibly ludicrous and aggravating, that I can almost tell what’s about to happen or what will happen at some point, and I know that if I ever knew her in person, with some of the ludicrous things she owes in her books, I’d want to shake her until her teeth knocked together and her fillings fell out, because what the fuck!!!!

// In continuation I’m going to say this author’s really frequent shitty literary decisions to forgive all the most heinous familial “crimes” and the most disgusting and abusive behavior because of one small gesture that go w/o saying, is NOT a fucking reason to welcome her back into someone’s life or forgive her! I know that the whole issue with this mother is going to piss the fuck out of me! We will see!

// Another thing that I’ve seen reviewers mention that I have a massive problem with is this author’s propensity for making really really shitty and ludicrous literary decisions that are essentially fuelled by a bleeding heart mentality! I mean if you want to forgive every fucking Tom Dick and Harry that shit on you and your life, that’s your business, but leave it out of the freaking book for heaven’s sake!!

// We are off to a good start! Looking forward to a little bit of that tension we were promised!

// One LAST thing: I really anticipate this author not pissing me off w/ any kind of bleeding heart familial nonsense! I really anticipate that there isn’t any type of “forgiveness above all” or “family is family no matter how fucking shitty they’ve been to you” nonsense! I really anticipate this author not imposing bleeding heart nonsense and that this familial BS not pissing the fuck out of me!!!

// I very vehemently disagree with this author’s tactics of family at all costs! I very much disagree with her sometimes incredibly imposed bleeding heart mentality of forgiveness no matter what! Especially when it involves people that have absolutely no business w/ being even remotely forgiven! Family has nothing to do w/ DNA! I Hope this author will not pissed the fuck out of me with that bleeding heart nonsense!

I’m pissed w/ Jason on Ryder’s behalf! Hanging up on somebody in ANY capacity is so fucking rude! I can’t stand people who do that; never fucking hang up on somebody! SO disrespectful! Also, I hate it when people say “love you” as some kind of sentence qualifier or as a way of saying bye! It means absolutely nothing & it completely detracts from the sentimental value of the words I love you! Don’t do it!!

// It’s ironic that you’re talking about having a home vs. having a house and inasmuch as it’s incredibly admirable that you’re doing everything that you’re doing, to give your husband and your daughter everything you want them to have, you’re not there because you’re always working, so it’s really ironic and defeats the purpose! Your husband is going to end up resentful! Don’t let that happen!!

Why did it have to be the little girl???? I'm dying over here.
