Rumi under Sufi trial to “destroy all attachments in order to win over your self” - this desc reminds me of JC speaking to some who claimed they wanted to follow him but he said you have to leave behind everything including family
And it’s bothering me honestly
Though this is also different + recalls the man leaving R’s sermon bc R hasn’t experienced hardship tho he spoke as if he had authority
