I like that things are picking up! The return of Blue, them going head-to-head with the Top Cat Gang. When they manage to get the jewels back from them, it's going to be completely unrealistic, but hey, what can you do? One thing I am annoyed about is the description of Jewels on the silks or just generally in the air or flipping. I have no clue what the author is describing or how to picture it.

Alright! Just spent five minutes fixing everything after I accidentally hit the "I'm Finished!" button on my laptop even though I wasn't. No clue how that even happened. . . But the past two things in the activity log are incorrect.

More ugh. Darius isn’t coming with them. For dumb reasons! They need him, and he’s not coming. That’s exactly what he should be doing because he messed up, helping them to fix his mistakes, not hiding from them and wallowing.

Ugh! Why did they have lose everything? I supposed because the author needed a motivation for the others (March didn't really need one) to pull their last two heists. And it fits the curse. But it's annoying. I hate it when they give a character something only to take it away. Why even give it to them then? And I still think they're making in way too hard for kids to pull off. But I love the March/Darius tension.

More magic jewels. And ghosts exist. I liked the prophecy in the last one, but for some reason bringing magic back for the second book kind of annoys me. And it has nothing to do with them, they just happen to find this magic stone, unlike with the moonstone when there was already a prophecy made about them. Other than that, I’m just worried that March is going to end up throwing everything away just for thrills.
