Ik that this is an erotic, morally grey, dark fantasy romance novel, but realistically, he is predatory and icky. The girl was groomed since she was young for Christ sakes. She has no one and nothing but him. She is always within his realm of control. And other toxic shit, but this is a gendered fantasy and fiction. On psychological level, the relationship itches a groove or well, multiple crevices in my brain…
