The third chapter on John is really, really good.

“If hospitality is making room for the other by welcoming the stranger into one’s own space, then hospitality to the religious other will not hide or refrain from sharing his Christian beliefs and practices. And vice versa, the Christian should receive with gratitude the opportunity to learn from her non-Christian friend about her beliefs, rituals, and practices” 115
