Status Updates From Here for Us (Us, #1)

This feels more like two adults taking in a troubled youth than three full adults coming together for a relationship.

So far we’ve got misunderstood sex workers and pornographers with hearts of gold, too many friends with too many dramatic backstories, and some conversations that sound scripted/unlike real human interactions. 🙃🤗

So, this is obviously a spin off of another series, because I have a hard time keeping track of all those background characters and backstories.

I feel the author went a bit overboard. Introducing former MCs is fine and fun for those who read the books, but I don't need the backstory of about half a dozen couples thrown at me that do nothing for the story at hand.

This is backwards to everyone I know in the real world. Millennials are much more accepting of polyamory than people in their 40s.

Love. Lovely. Pish posh. UGH!! These men are in their 40s!! They aren't 90 year old men!! They're frickin' younger than me! They would've grown up in the late 70s and 80s! They're all in adult entertainment! They wouldn't, shouldn't, sound like that!

I'm supposed to believe this doctor makes house calls, can diagnose that quickly and never mention payments? Who's going to pay for all of this? Not a 23 year old recently homeless go-go boy! Therapy is expensive! Medication is expensive! And this type of diagnosis is not this easily made!
