I wish we could have seen Delilah with her daughter & know what raising her was like. I don't know why this book was so much shorter than most of the others. There's so much more to explore! I want more!

Maggie's POV was SO SWEET but I it was sad that she only remembers Iris singing to her & her long hair but not her name. I guess we can assume Iris never really came back into their lives. I was so sure her daughter & Astrid would be best friends bc it seemed like they were going to grow up together. I can't believe Iris abandoned them once she got married & had kids! They were her family. She helped raise Maggie!

Unlike the previous books, this one alternates between all three sister's POV's, so each chapter focuses on a different sister. I like it, even though it feels like Menolly isn't getting an equal share. It makes me wonder what the books would have been like if she'd written them all this way, instead of giving each sister an entire separate book. Either way, I'm happy to have all of their perspectives one last time.

First Seamus is a Knight & now Bran! I wish they'd just give you a list of who each Knight is. I realized that there is a novella (19.5 Knight Magic) that goes into detail about how Camille chooses the rest of her Knights, but I haven't read it. I hate feeling like I'm missing things.
